Coffee versus diabetes and cancer

I just got an e-mail from a friend telling me that latest research shows coffee can reduce diabetes and some cancers possibilities. Some ingredients in the coffee reduce diabetes and some cancers factors inside our body. Of course, the research says that doctor won't advise his diabetes and cancer patients to take coffee to fight the illness. A relief to me, now I can loosen up some of my guilt for taking a cup of coffee everyday.

Hi caesarin, I have heard about that too. A doctor friend once told me that coffee reduces the risk of getting cancer. Although I don't put much stock on it. Anybody nowadays can get cancer whether they have the proper diet or not. I say it is just a matter of mind over matter. If you think hard enough on positive thoughts that maybe you won't have it then you might not have it at all. It's just pure speculation on my part of course but who knows. Stranger things have been known to happen. Thanks and have a nice day!

it is okay to take a cup of coffee a day. there is no danger to that. it becomes disadvantageous only if one takes so many cups of coffee a day. coffee, by the way, is being used to cure some types of cancer and diabetes. but not in the way that most of us are thinking of. it is a very much different process. the patient shall not be ingesting coffee by drinking it. for those patients who want to make use of the process, they will have to consult a doctor who knows how it is being administered. this is a very effective method in alleviating the diseases being mentioned here.

I once write a topic on how coffee cause headache. But to be frank I don't know whether is it really true that you'll get headaches when you don't have coffee (when you're already used to take it). Plus is there any research on how coffee causes headaches. Physically, I'm not addicted to coffee but inside I always tempted to drink coffee. If it really reduces diabetes and cancer factor, I feel more likely to have coffee daily, maybe one cup per day.
