Our ancestor's started the American Revolutionary War on a idea that Taxation without Representation is wrong. We won that war over 230 years ago, yet the residents of the District of Columbia still don't have a voting representative in either House of Congress. The House of Representatives finally passed H.R. 1433! Now the bill goes before the Senate. Contact your Senator's to encourage them to pass this bill and to be able to have a majority from both Houses to override President Bush's promised veto of the Act. President Bush should rise above partisan politic's to ensure that every American has Representation in Congress. Use www.congress.org to get a hold of your Congresspeople!
