My colleaque who is working as a assistant to my boss is a pathological liar. Inspite of knowing the fact, that my colleaque is a pathological liar, my boss still belive her lies. The whole office people knows she is a liar and she concocted stories and spread as if happened. Since I had to deal with her on many issues relating to official matters, I got confused whether she is telling the truth or telling something out of pigment of imagination. The whole office is facing this problem except my boss. One day we, all went to him and told him about the confusion. No result come out. Things are moving as it is. How to solve this problem. Please advise.

If your boss won't help you then go to someone higher up or someone in Human Resources. If her personal issues are interfering with work then that is something that has to be dealt with before it damages the company. If you tell them that there is a potential to lose money, someone is going to listen up.

The best thing would be to tell the boss that u all have the problem of trusting her.And on his part ur boss should give her a warning or if she doesn't hear to warnings she should be fired .Because when once lost is trust it is very difficult to work with such a person. On ur part i think u need to talk to ur collegue about all this and check out if u can sorrt out like this only.If it doesn't make any changes go ahead and talk to ur boss.
