Last night I just couldn't sleep...so, I switched on my tv and watched the midnight show...It was the Saving Private Ryan film...I had been watched this film a few times already but I still want to watch it on that night...not because I don't have any other good shows on the other channels..I just hardly to get bored watching this film...I even had bought the DVD 2 times already..the first time I bought it, one of my friend borrowed it from me and never returned it back to me..hmm...So, I bought it for the second time...just to keep it in my DVD collection.. Saving Private Ryan is definetely the best war film I ever watched...Untill today, I don't think any other war film could be better than this movie..Perhaps "Enemy at the Gates" could be almost at the same level of this film...but "Enemy at the Gates" is all about the sniper...totally different from "Saving Private Ryan"...what do you think?..

Its one of my favourite films of all time. The best film is near the start on the beach where the level of emotion and violence produces a great scene from the film. Tom Hanks is one of the greatest actors in the world and brings the film to life. The film provides a good insight into what it must of been like for the real soldiers in the real wars. Its the greatest war film of all time for me.

No other movie Spielberg has ever directed displays the brutality and the raw ugliness of war than Saving Private Ryan. No other movie. This movie attempts to show war to people like us, people who have never been to war and therefore, can never quite understand what it must have been like.

Glad I'm not alone haha, this move gives us further experience of what war would have been like, as you watched the movie they showed people hiding behind hedgehogs(the anti tank "X" looking thing on the beach) crying defintely got the viewers attention.

Easily one of the best movies I have ever seen. It was the first war movie I'd seen that didn't glorify war and showed how horrifying it really is. No other movie has had the same impact on me. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that this is THE best war movie I've ever seen.

Yup nothing else can compete to Saving private Ryan, Because most other war files are TV series like Band Of Brothers, BoB is awesome too, they have 10 episodes and that like 10 mini episodes that re like Saving private Ryan.
