Because of heat wave ,south India find it difficult to have peaceful rest in night. Its peak summer here. Its not easy to have air conditioned plants at home because though plants are cheaper the electricity bill will not be cheaper. It is unwise to keep the doors and windows opened in the nights as theives get into action.Theft is much common in these summer times as people keep their doors opened to get fresh breeze in night times. IN some countries these type of problem does not arise.could you tell in which part of world enjoy cool climate now?

You are right subathra. South India faces heat waves and the temeprature is still rising, but when compared to north India, we are far better. In the norther side it is quite hot. As you said, it is really difficult to keep the doors & windows open due to the theft scare but you can just pour water on the surface in the evening time to make the place little bit chill!

The summer in India is the worst thing. Whole of India get fried in summer, be it South or East. But there are some part of this large country which gets respite from the wrath of summer. Its the hilly areas of India. In summer the hilly areas become enjoyable for the residents as they don't have to wear woolen clothes during day times. Regarding other countries it remains pleasant weather through out the year is Japan, Iran, European Countries, Northern part of USA, Canada. But I doubt how long these countries will enjoy the pleasant summer. Because the alarming rate of Global warming is plaing havoc with the weather of all the Continents. The overall temparature of the world is on the increase. So its better to be prepared mentally and physically to tackle the horrible summer. The murcury will be on the rise defying the law of gravitation.

You could go to Canada or Alaska. The only problems with these countries is the very long and extremely cold winters. The best bet is to spend 6 months (winter) in India, and 6 months (summer) in Canada. Actually, running an air conditioner would probably be cheaper! Here in the northern USA there is really only about one month (well, maybe 6 weeks) when it's too hot to sleep. We find it worth every penny to run our air conditioner then -- a good nights sleep can be crucial for safety on the job, not to mention how our moods are improved!!
