What's a good video editing software?

What's a good video editing software that won't break the bank and has more features than Windows Moviemaker.......

As a video editor, I used Adobe Premiere Pro because I'm using Windows XP, but if I have the chance to use Mac then It's Final Cut Pro. In most of video magazines where you will see list of Film Universities this is what I've observed of the top 3 Video Editing software that they use. 1. Final Cut Pro 2. Avid Pro 3. Adobe Premiere. Now these softwares are the professional level of editing but you can also use a end-user level of video editing which is I'm not really familiar with. Hope this helped you!

i think you should try video edit magic it has more feature than moviemaker.
