What If You Were Hitler?

I admired the man for the way he speaks. for the way he commanded the crowd. for the way he wielded power. It's just so sad he squandered it all and became the worst genocidal maniac in all of history. don't get me wrong. not one single bit did i like his bad acts, his evil persecution of jews. he even caused the worst war that consumed mankind. but he has the talent that i liked. the way he speaks, the way he gets his will to the crowd. What if I was Hitler? What could I have done? Could I have chosen the same path as he did? What if you were Hitler? What if such great talent was given to you and you have such great power to wield? What would you do?

Hitler came up at the wrong time and he had some wrong judgments (no kidding), but asides from that I agree. He simply was a real leader, or played like one. Killing himself in the end was a bit low, but I think it's fear having to do with it of course. But pretty much overall it counts that the leaders with potention end up corrupted by power and going the wrong ways. Power is just too easy to be tempted by though and that probably is a major issue, even if you get to the top with good intentions I doubt those good intentions would ever stay.
