I think my cat is a heinz 57. But I stll love him. His name is Sam. He is huge and I don't think he knows he's a cat. He begs for food like a dog, and he drools when he sleeps. He lays on his back, I never saw a cat act like him before. When I'm outside mowing he watches me from the bay window.

I just recently was given one(a kitten 3months old)and so far shes calm sweet and the cutest thing I've seen. It seems like all she does right now is sleep might play with my daughter for a minute, then she goes right back into her bed and sleep. So as of now I adore her

Siamese cats are a wonderful breed, there are beautiful and intelligent. I own one named RITA. In my opinion siamese cats are not calm, RITA is always getting into things and wanting my attention. She follows me room to room like a dog.

Oh gosh I LOVE siamese cats! I've had a number of them and will never do without because they're wonderful companions. The females are usually aloof but you have to be really patient with them and talk to them more then petting while they're growing up so they can get used to the sound of your voice and then all of the sudden, they come out of their shell and are sooo loving! The males, on the other hand, are totally opposite, they're loving right from the get go. They're the most affectionet, much more than the female. Both are very vocal and will follow you around the house and yard in which you'd have to be careful because if you were to cross a road, they'll follow you. It's pretty neat to have such a loyal companion. Right now I have 2 siamese - male and female, a snow shoe which is a cousin of the siamese, and a bermese mix along with four others that are mixed. I love cats. Also I have 3 dogs and one more on the way.

I think they're beautiful animals, but I wouldn't own one with a child. They tend to latch onto one person and can be mean if they decide they're not getting enough attention. I knew a couple that has some they had to get rid of because they started attacking their baby when they brought her home. They wanted to be the center of attention -- most other cat breeds will accept the change and the new people in the house. Siamese usually won't. One of my cats IS half siamese, though. He has more of the short hair temperament though. But the angular face of a siamese (he's solid black). He's also go the tooth problems and hip problems that siamese tend to have. He's 13 years old, but he started losing his teeth about 5 years ago. He only has his back teeth now.

I think they're really beautiful and exotic looking. I've always wanted one. I used to have a cat, I never found out was his mix was. I'd love to have another cat, but I'm not sure how my husband would deal with that. He doesn't really like cats. Or my dog for that matter. lol.
