How is your community celebrating or local hospital/medical center?
My husband's nursing center is having a huge birthday party for all the staff and residents with balloons, clowns, ice cream and cake - the works. Then the nurse employee of the year is announced and each nurse get's a small gift bag before going home.
Thank a nurse everyday!

We are having a Nurses' Luncheon on Wednesday at the nursing home where I work. They have it catered. Our pharmacy and ambulance companies and some of the doctors give us gifts and there is a raffle for prizes and days off with pay. Last year they raffled cubs and sox tickets.
