I've 5 thieives in my home,shouldn't i punish them when they steel my foods?

As we known,cats often steel her owners' foods,especially fish and meat.I have 5 cats,so i have 5 thieives in my home.When i buy some meat from the supermarket,it's not safe to put them anywhere.Cause the cats are clever enough to find them within only serval seconds.So i often feel bothered and helpless.Then i don't give the cats any food for 2 days as their punishment.What about you?Will you punish them even they are clever,but my meat are more fragrant.Hehe.

The cats wont steal foods if they are properly fed. You should not punish them but feed them properly so they wont steal your meats. If you will starve them the more they will steal from your meats. Maybe you should give them away where they can be fed properly. Its just my point of view.

I would not punish your cats for something like that. If they were tearing up your furniture or doing worse things than I may stick them in a cage or something but not starve them. :-) They are very clever cats. Obviously they do not like their foods at all and want your food. I can not blame them for wanting your food. :-) Cats can find just about anything.

You shouldn't punish your animals in any way. They don't understand your thinking. They certainly don't know the difference between your food and theirs. Just put your food away properly so they cannot get to it. Simple. Maybe they are punsihing you.
Cats do their own thing...you should know that. A dog can be reprimanded but should not be punished. You can't reprimand a cat.

Ah oh...Now,i won't punish them any more.They're really clever when they don't steel my meat.They often punish me that they often suck my feet.

You starve your cats as punishment for eating your food? Are you serious?! If so, please, find someone who will responsibly take care of your pets so you won't abuse them anymore. No wonder they're trying to eat your food if you're withholding theirs!
Put your meat in the refridgerator and then you won't have to worry about it. And for God's sake, be a more responsible pet owner! You wouldn't starve your children, right? Pets are just like children. Treat them as such.
