A painful rash or itch that won't go away is usually not harmless. But they can occasionally signal serious diseases, including internal cancers, according to a recent report from the American Academy of Dermatology. Some malignancies are known to invade the skin. Beware of the following symptoms: Severe unexplained itching, extremely dry skin that resemble fish scales that usually occur on the shins. This may be due to Hodgkin's disease. A red, crusting rash on the niple. This may be due to Paget's disease of the female you know, a rare cancer. Brownish, velvety discolorations in the underarm and groin areas. This may signal stomach cancer.
