I'm a guy who use credit cards regularily.Every time I see something fresh,I just buy it without much consideration.(the age of no credit cards,I scarcely bought anything that seemed no use to me,but now the status quo has changed so far)But the credit cards arouse nothing but my bitter-sweet memories, especially the due time comes. So what do you think of the credit cards and what role does it play in your daily life?

I know the power a credit card gives to the bearer. It's easy to just flash the card and buy anything to your heart's desire, and then later on face the problem of having to pay for the debt you accummulated. It makes one feel rich for a moment, but it gives people the reason to buy beyond their means and to acquire things they barely need. I've always refused to secure a credit card because I know I have a great tendency and possibility to lose control as I'm an impulsive shopper. It's something I definitely can live without.

I have to agree...it's more about discipline. Credit cards can be a very helpful tool, espeically now in the age of online shopping and the securities that come with a CC purchase. BUT you have to be responsible or they will quickly become just a tool to get you into debt faster. For years I had several credit cards with balances. I have finally paid all of them off and cancelled all but one. I will not fall into that trap again!

I have the same impulsiveness like you. I buy things at first sight even without thinking twice. Especially when you know that you can afford to buy anything because you are being backed up by a credit card. But don't get me wrong, I mean, the credit card itself and the advantages it gives are acknowledged for but personally, it brings so much trouble to me because until now, I cant control this urge to buy things in an instant.
