Having trust??? Am i talking if a bit too far or no.

I had an important work for which i had to go out of town. But at the same time i had to complete my journal and get it corrected. In such a situation i had given it to my friend trusting him to do it. But when i come back i find he had done nothing. Now i have a hell lot of work to do. And only pray that our professor would check it tomorrow. So after this incident i have a bit of Hate for that person who hadnt finish the work assign to him and trying to avoid him whenever i meet him. Is this normal or i am doing something stupid
