What is your favortie operating system and why

i am using windows xp since i started using my computer and i am satisfied with its qualification as it is up to my need.may be the others have many qualifications to others who need.

The best operating system is MacOs X, of course. Second place Linux and last windows. MacOs is the best because it is easy to use as windows and stable more than Linux, without disadvantages. Linux is in second place because is quite easy to use but not the easiest. windows is the last one because is virus prone and it has a lot of bugs.

Debian & Debain-based Linux and Windows OS. I haven't used a Mac PC yet but Mac OSX 10 Leopard looks promising.

I am only familiar with Win XP and so that is my favorite. I don't know enough about the others to even have an opinion. Win XP works well enough for me and does what I need it to.

the only operating system that i am familiar with is windows. it has always been windows since some 20 years ago when the internet was not yet as popular as it is now. we had no internet connection then and, we had only a 286 computer at the office. i believe that it was the best one around at that time.

My favourite operating system is Windows XP. I like the interface and the way it looks. I also have been using Windows XP since the month it was released and wont be switching away from it any time soon. Its also compatible with most pieces of software created today and i have never had any problems with it.
