i am also using windows eversince. but with the way microsoft released its new os, windows vista, i think i have to think twice before trying out this new os. apple says that they have done the vista interface already, way back earlier than the development of vista. although i haven't tried mac yet, i think it's much convenient to use than windows because of its security. i can say that it's like a fusion of the great-looking windows and the really secured unix-based systems. with this, i think i'll be switching to mac very soon.

Thats ditto for me too... I've seen mac and vista,, for me its actually the same.. though vista got some few bugs in it and some softwares that I'm using now is not currently supporting vista.. even some hardware... same here I'm thinking of getting a mac too.... at least it'll be less confusion... advantage of windows is I could just built 1 pc... but to mac... I'm having some doubts.. if I could built it myself... :D better purchase it than give myself a headache....

i use both mac and windows xp, os systems, well that right know i cannot complain about it, i think at this time windows xp is very stable, you can do amazing stuff, and all that but what annoys me a lot is the updates system and that every time you got to make a medium upgrade, you must validate that you have original software, and also that there are some crashes from time to time, i think windows xp right know is one of the most stable windows os, just comparable to windows 98 se, and what is interesting is that microsoft will still offering support for xp for quite a long time more. I think windows vista is a too heavy os, that mine all your system resources, and if you want to upgrade from windows xp, you should avoid that cause you will have a lot of issues, what you must do is buy a entire new system that is windows vista ready, so you can fully take advantage of the os. About Mac OS X, its an amazing os, it has great quality, great stabilty and that, it has some minor flaws from time to time as everything, but i'm very sattisfied with it, i use it on a macbook for my presonal use, and i can say that is one of the best investments that i ever made, and if you say that there are no programs for mac, you're wrong, at this time you can find software for mac, that will do all that you can do on a pc and even more

I've been using windows ever since because it's the more prevalent OS here in the Philippines. In as much as possible i would like to try the MAC OS X. I'm a great lover of sleek design and cool looking icons - not to mention the cool add-ons like widgets. I had the opportunity to run Vista in the office during my OJT and I must say that it is supperb, but i guess since it's a new OS, it will have some new vulnerabilities. I like the icons but i like my OS to be stable - so i'll stick with XP for now. Now, since I wanted a MAC - what to do? The next thing I knew I was installing a great package called FlyAKite and - lo and behold - the MAC OSX Panther has arrived at my home!

ive been using windows OS since i got hold of a computer. as for my observation, windows xp for now is quite stable though sometimes i experience problems when i update the OS, but still, i manage to repair it. ive also read on magazines that people who had been used to mac OS say that it is better than windows OS. well, i think the it depends on what are the requirements of the person using the computer and what he/she is used to operate.
