Hello friends, what is the most attractive and beautiful scenary you have seen in your country or in any other country which you have travelled? I live in the state of Kerala, which itself is welknown for it's scenic beauty. But the natural scene which fascinated me the most is not here. It was in the Indian ocean. While I was flying to Male in the Maldives when I looked downwards from the plane I could see hundreds of lagoons and isles in the ocean. The sea was emerald green and the lagoons reflected various colors of the coral underneath. The isles were full of coconut trees. The lagoons were calm. This scenery is the most fascinating and beautiful one I have seen. Now please explain yours. What is the scenary which fascinated you the most, either in your own country or any foreign country. Please share your experience with us all. Thank you.

one of the nicest sceneries i saw was a sunset it was lie a painting or photo with black lines and reds and oranges everything outlined with exact details it made me feel very peaceful and dream of the future i really felt like something was happening to me for the future when i looked at that sunset and something good ill never forget it and sometimes i think of it and it reminds me of music aswell like a song that makes you forget your life and go to another world

A very romantic as well as philosophical description of a beautiful sunset. Sun set is always beautiful, anywhere or any time. That particular day the sunet was so impressive to you! Glad to hear that. Thank you for the response.

Well friend, i havent travelled much. Once i went to a hill station named OOTY in India. As i was climbing the hill i could see the passing clouds through the mountains and small small houses and vehicles moving around. That was the first time that i was watching things from such high altitude. I enjoyed that scenery :)

Gosh, Canada is such a big country. I don't even know all the beauty in it. I have not had the opportunity to see everything myself. We have majestic rocky mountains, a huge and powerful waterfalls, valleys and streams, lakes, oceans, (two, the atlantic and the pacific) rolling hills, flat plains, beautiful cities and towns, beautiful enormous trees. It think we have everything but tropical beauty here in canada

Yes I have read about Canada. There is a lot of uninhabited and less polutted areas in your country. God has created every country with its own scenic beauty. Thank you for your response.

Driving through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado or the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. Especially during the fall months. I am sure there are many other great places to view extraordinary scenery around the world.

snowing - snowing in australia
Hello, abroji,I had been to the Snowy Mountain in australia in the snowing season, the tour guide told me the chance to see the snow is less than 50%,luckily i could be able to see it, when i was looking down the mountain from the chairlift, the view was so great, i saw the snow piling up and kept falling from the sky .The sun was shining toward the snow and people were skiing happily. The clear blue sky was like few meters away from me.

Another great discussion. You had some wonderful replies. I think my favourite description was yours though - sounds beautiful to me. We have some lovely green scenery in Britain with lakes and waterfalls. I took some wonderful photographs of sunsets from my bedroom window and others of snow covering our familiar surroundings and making them look so special. Holidays always seem best though. I saw some great scenery in the Bahamas last year. The experience I remember as greatest though was being in a chalet in Switzerland and watching a cloud come up the valley towards us. That was truly magical. Thanks for making me feel great remembering these sights. I must go to bed now but will have happy dreams.

Congratulations on acquiring the top grade star, and for your forthcoming 500th posting. Great achievement. Thank you for your response.

The Giant's Causeway in Antrim, Northern Ireland is spectacular! I have taken my family hking there a number of times. You have to be careful what time of year you visit, because it can be very windy and exposed. The late summer, early autumn is the most reliable time of year. It is a World Heritage site, so it isn't just my opinion. The coastal scenery is some of the most beautiful and awe inspiring that you are likely to find along the coast of Ireland. It isn't just gealogically astonishing, either, there is also a rope bridge to cross over which spans something like 20 feet. It shakes like you wouln't believe as you cross it. That is only for the more adventurous! The majestic cliffs and inaccessible bays combine with myth and legend. There are isolated ruins, kelp walls and shoreline fields with dry stone walls. Dotted around the coast you'll find small sheltered harbours and slipways, and fishermen's cottages. The coolest bit of the Causeway is the huge stone formations, such as the Organ or the Giant's Boot. There is also Dunluce Castle and the Jamison Whiskey Distillery within anm easy drive so there is plenty to keep you occupied for a long weekend at minimum.
