Which prospect do you find more troubling? Which is worst? Why?

I'd rather be divorced than an Old Gent because, at least, I had experienced to be a family man, have kids and raised a family. Even though one is divorced, he still have kids who will always be part of his family. And after the divorce, one could live a life as carefree as an old gent. :)

That's a very good point. I guess if you take the kids into consideration, you'd see it differently.

i think being divorced is worse than being Single all your life.. being divorced is a choice but being single is a gift..though some may not see it as a gift, because you're alone and all that, it still is..that is the plan that the Lord has given you..and that is not to be rejected but to be celebrated with joy by living everyday thanking God for His continuous blessings.. as for being divorced, its like rejection..just like singleness, being married is a gift too..and to separate is to reject it..reject the gift..

Sometimes I see divorce as worst because of the pain and feeling like you just wasted a chunk of your life. That's my greatest fear about getting married. I know that sounds pessimistic. I guess it's about finding the right person and taking that chance

Both of them are misrespected by the society and i find theese predjuces very old-fashioned. I posted a discussion some days ago about the family status and how the opinion about you changes...and of course, this is stupid!
