What Does "Don't Feed The Trolls" Mean?

I came across this phrase but couldnt figure out what it means?

Trolls is term online for people who flame the forum discussions and have agressive behaviour. Dont to feed them means just to ignore them. If we react to troll`s provocation-and flame back with him-he will be satisfied and will not stop.
