when was the last time you had to defend your answers to somebody? i do get into arguments. it always ends up like a debate. i liked the art of persuading someone into believing that what i'm saying is correct. apparently it became my habit. yeah, i'm guilty - i do have a lot of reasons for every percievable question a person will ask me. why are you late? why is this like this, it wasn't like that before? why are you doing that? it's not that i'm a liar. all i'm telling them is the truth.it so happens that sometimes they won't take no for an answer and i have to persuade them to let me say no. i ended up persuading them to let me off the hook all the time. that's why i ended up being called the defense minister - i can always defend my arguments and win it. so, have you been in that position lately?

The Defense Minister huh? Well I suppose it's better than being called "Devil's advocate." Me too. I tend to argue a lot of things. It's not that I don't believe in what others are saying. It's because you usually learn more and see more by contesting a point. Also, I don't do well with authority. I even tend to question it, which obviously leads me to trouble. But a lot of people do seem to see some of my points, and would even rally behind me when I pushed through a good argument.

I tend to argue my answers to and I like to persuade people to, but I have found that if you do it too much people get turned off and they sometimes just let you have the last say to shut you up. It is not because they really believe your point, they just don't want to hear it anymore.
