as a teenager, i'm lucky enough to say that i didnt have a lot of curfews. sometimes, if i would just ask permission to my mother earlier than the event, she wouldnt give me any curfew. in return, i would return home safe and sound, and dometimes, early. i believe that if parents give them your trust, you should take care of it and not abuse it. do you agree with me guys? :)

When I was growing up my father always told us that we had to be in our own yard by the time the street lights came on. He didn't care where in our yard we were at just as long as we were there. The town we lived in had a set curfew for children under the age of eighteen. You had to be accompanied by an adult to be out past nine pm.

I never really had a curfew, as long as I would come home alive it'd be ok :P. And well yeh, in general I didn't make it too late anyways because I usually had to bike like 10km back, so probably 1~2AM I'd go home latest. Some exceptions on birthdays and such when it could go on till 5~6 in the morning or when I just would sleep at a friends place and it'd go on all night as well. Some curfews though which I see some people having are just ridiculous if you ask me, like 16~17 year olds which are supposed to be home by 11 and such. You could just as well directly tell your kids you don't trust them the slightest, hell even the movies in the cinemas last till later than 11 on the evening shows.
