what's the worst reason why you became grounded?

my parents dont really pactice "grounding" their kids. however, they have their own way of punishing which is, i think, equal to grounding. they really scold me and tell me frankly how wrong i have been. i think the last time they scolded me was when i lost my cellphone. i really cried that time but after a day, things were a-ok again. :) what's you experiences on being grounded?

I was grounded for 6 months. No going anywhere with friends, guys..nothing. I had to sit at home every night. My dad always tried to take the computer away, but it was my only form of contact with a best friend in Maine, so my mom told him that was the meanest thing in the world and I got it back haha. I was never really grounded THAT terribly though, and never was I grounded when I didn't deserve the punishment or more.

When I was younger I acted out a lot. I got grounded all the time for going out and drinking with my friends. I feel bad for that I put my mom through, she didn't deserve it.
