Just heard this over a homily as i attended a mass yesterday.I do asked myself on this also, what is my view of a GOOD LIFE...do i have to be rich?, have lots of money?, having a mansion?,luxurious car and accessories?...well come to think of it?. Well for me, these are not the things that makes my life to be called a GOOD LIFE. A GOOD LIFE for me is...a life that is GOD fearing, simple living at least i can able to eat three times a day, having harmonious relationships among others, be able to fullfill my simple dreams in life (having a family, my son and my work, be able to provide the needs of my family). These are the things that makes my life a GOOD LIFE.How about you guys out there?Give your ideas/views of a GOOD LIFE.Glad to hear from you side.

Hi Jcverns, To me the Good Life means having no debts, and having a wonderful and supportive family. I thank God for my husband and my two boys. Also, I thank God for my extended family and my friends. I also believe that we make a living by what we get ,but we make a life by what we give. God also gives you a special kind of happiness that you cannot express with words.

Hello Mirita. Thanks for your post. Really true having no debts would be a good life but for now a days i guess it's seldom to find someone without debt due to the high commodities in the market. Honestly, me i have these debts in life but i manage to pay it because i am responsible for that debt.Have a blessed day.

Good life is defined depending on the person involved meaning variations of definitions are definitely expected of. For me, a good life happens when I could satisfactorily support my whole family -- meaning we live a life with dignity and where potentials are cultivated. No man could ever be satisfied because all of us has this greedy nature where nothing is enough. but come to think of, at the bottom line of everything, there lies just a wish for a simple life where you are happy despite of not having everything. I think the key here is happiness. You have a good life if you are happy. We could not measure good life by means of material wealth or power being wield.

a good life is knowing the real purpose of life. it is knowing the plan of salvation God has prepared for all mankind and enjoying that truth with my family... it is having enough income for my family needs........

I agree with you for what good life is. To me, good life is having respect for God and respect, love and kingness to others. having to provide for the family, humble life and having a decent living place and good relationship with both family and non-family members. if one is able to achieve these you'd have no doubt lived a better and decent life on this earth.

For me I have a good education and qualified in more than 5 trades. I have good finances and enjoyed a better life than most. But what i want in life i recently obtained. A woman who loves me for who i am and who i love her for, family is everything. The moments waking up with my partner are more important than any money in the bank and the same for our children, happiness is measured in what you have in life not what you seek.. wealth is of the heart not financial.
