Hi all, What are some of the crafty things you can do? I love to knit and have knitted jumpers for my children and myself and my favourite knitting is baby sets. I also crochet and have made numerous doillies and tablecloths. I also have covered special occassion photo albums and made Sooky Dolls.

I'm a crochet addict too! I just found this really cute pattern for a snowflake bookmark too-it's perfect for Christmas. If anyone wants the website, just let me know. (I'm not sure if I should/can post it here.) I made a bunch without the tail to use as decorations too...

baby blanket - My current favorite crochet patterns
I love to crochet and knit. My favorite would be crocheting baby blankets to give as gifts. I have recently sewed a couple of heating pads, which have turned out to be wonderful for sore muscles. My husband loves them for his back!

I love to knit, sew and scrapbook. I have knitted an afghan for my bed, I made a scrapbook of all my parents pictures and currently I am working on sewing a quilt for a friend of mine.

I love to Knit & crochet. I just taught myself to knit last winter, so I haven't done much with that, but I knitted an afghan for my MIL last spring for Mother's Day. I've crocheted a lot of afghans though. I also like to sew, though I'm not very good at it. I love to do macrome ( I think that's what it's called anyway)...it's making bracelets & things out of embroidry floss (you tie a bunch of little knots to make a pattern). Sorry if you have no clue what I'm talking about. :-/ I also love to do silk flower arrangements. I think that's about it for my crafty abilities. :)

Hi, It sounds like you are a very creative person. If you are only begining at knitting then try knitting scarfs and beanies i find that these are easy and you finish them quite quickly and it gets you use to the basic stitches. Yes I do know about macrome but have never tried it myself. Thanks for sharing

I have yet to learn how to knit? I'm learing how to hand sew & I've started a project... I collect My Little Pony & I'm going to be making plush ones, I have the pattern all done & I'm going to make a test one out of spare fabric first before I spend a fortune on fabric. I also paint & draw. I'd also like to learn how to crochet? My Grandma tried to teach me but I think I just need a little more practice. I just made a Raindeer decoration for Christmas... he is made from a flower pot turned upside down with a Christmas ball on top, painted brown with other painted accents & foam antlers.

Howdy! I used to burn-etch Northwestern American Native totem animal figures on white cedar wood. Haven't done any in several years. My works were sold by a Western Washington State tribe in their gift shops and at their festivals.

Hi, Thats for sure nothing beats that feeling especially when others start noticing and asking where they got them from. Yes it sure takes time to finish a jumper on Size 4 needles LOL. Do you have any pics of the jumpers you knitted your boys.?

I love the knitted and croched items but I have no patience for the time it takes and never learned how. I love to sew (I can start and finish it NOW) My favorite to sew is the Daisy Kingdom patterns from Simplicity. I love the full skirts. I sew mostly for my grandchildren now. I also love to make mens western shirts and have made a lot of them. I have made some totes - made my own pattern for them and sold them. I also have made baby burp clothes that all the new mommies in our church just love.

ha ha at first I though you meant crafty as in a crafty villan lol then i read further :p just as well or i would be WAY off topic :) Well i like to build model cars not so much the plastic ones more the die cast ones i have built quite a few and i like to place them on my sons shelf for a display :) the best one i built was the Austin Martin Vanquish it took me ages i even had to fit tiny transfers onto the alloy wheels which would be almost 1mm in size. My middle son liked it so much he used to cry untill he got it to cuddle into in his bed lol (Bless). :p
