When I was growing up, after eating or turkey lunch, my sister and out best friends across the street from us would always go to the movies. That was so much fun. But then, we were still living at home, not married yet, no children and free to do what we wanted. Do you have any tradtions like this?

The women in my family would cook a side, like as soon as you were able to reach the counter and use a knife. I was always in charge of the dressing, I still make it every year even though it's just my husband and I sitting at the table (we live far away from family). My husband wants me to make it all the time, so usually once a month we eat it lol. After dinner, the kids all have a puzzle competition. My grandpa has lots of little puzzles and who ever puts one together the fastest wins $5. All of us are grown up now, but when we actually have a thanksgiving together we still do this, even our husbands get in on the action.
