Sakura is a Japan National flower that bloom in spring, around early April until late April (last month). Sakura can be seen all over Japan, include in many ornament, kimono, stationary, and kitchen ware. For the Japanese people (Nihonjin), Sakura is a very important symbol, associate with woman, life, death, and also a symbol to ekspres the bond between human, braveness, sadness, dan joy. Sakura also became a metaphore for the sign that life is will always end. Sakura is one kind of tree that classified in Rosaceae familia, genus = Prunus, similar with plum, peach, or apricot, but generally Sakura classified in Sakura subgenus. The source of word Sakura is from "Saku" (the Nihongo for "Bloom") plus "ra" to tell that this is plural. In English, sakura is called Cherry Blossoms. The Color of Sakura Flower depend on the species, there were white with a little pink, mild yellow, pink, pale green or crimson. Every year the Sakura watcher bring out the Sakurazensen (the moving patern of sakura blossoms map) because the bloom of the sakura (Someiyoshino Sakura species) start in Okinawa in February, then in West Honshu, Tokyo, Oksaka, Kyoto in late March till early April, them move bit by bit to the north, and end in Hokkaido when its Golden Week. So The observer will know where and when Sakura will blooms. Flower and Sakura leaf also can became food after it keep under salt water. Some use it for dry cake, mochi and ice cream.
