Are there really 90+ thousand members on Mylot?

Or do you think some people have opened a new account to be their own referral, attempting to double their income here? I posted another topic about the lack of responses people seem to be getting from their discussions, and the thought crossed my mind. If there are 90+ thousand "actual" members, wouldn't the discussions be getting a bit more attention than they are? What are your thoughts on this?

Certainly not that much. But many members are not yet activated the activation link till today. Most of them are asian continent people. Why this problem also not yet known. May be most of the IDs are fictious or duplicate.

Mylot might have 90+ thousand members but i think many have become inactive after reaching the minimum and got paid, while others never really have the patience and quit after seing that their earnings were getting nowhere. I just realized that yes, making a second account as referral certainly will increase their earnings. Maybe this tactic is being used by some. I think this is also another form of cheating.

That is a very interesting theory. While there are over 90,000 accounts(maybe around 30% actually active) there could be a number of people with alternates for whatever reason. I would think focusing on one account would garner more earners, but whatever. As with any other online community, you are bound to have inactive accounts in the batabase. It could be that someone has signed up, but lost interest soon there after, or they did not recieve a confirmation email(can't remember if mylot requires that or not.) I agree that after a while they should be done away with, but only after a warning is sent to the owners email account. They should be allowed 30 days to post after the email is sent, then it is deleted if no activity is recorded. Maybe it should be sent after 6 months or so of inactivity.
