why study is so important.....

I dont think so.which we learn in colleges are basic knownldge.And we cann't learn it from socity.

In school and colleges it is a systematic way of learning. At the end of the course, everyone is at equal grounds based on acquaintance to certain topics. It will be hard when it comes to professional learning especially when it comes to society. In a way, education is a continuous process. One has to learn in schools and colleges as well as from society.

very interesting question. We can learn almost everything from our society. But I think School and Colleges are essential for a whole development of a boy /girl to a grown up. I fact, school or colleges not only teach the theoretical knowledge but also teaches discipline, methodologies, the correct ways to execute some theories in practical classes, on hand projects help to develop student's mental ability to create something new and many more. All these things can't be readily available nor can be taught to each and every student. Schools and colleges are platforms to develop a student to a perfect human. It's essential for every citizen to learn in school/colleges for the development of the country also.

The knowledge taught at colleges and universities is possessed by a minority of society, so if we'd throw them away eventually our knowledge would degrade.
