Newbies are just so excited to make money

I noticed that most newbies in myLot are so eager to make big money. They post a lot. They start so many discussions. They comment a lot. Make friends easily. I have seen a newbie dominate a single interest with 5 discussions a day, much to my annoyance since it buries other discussions. I'm a newbie myself, and I had my moments. But I learned quick on this. I suppose it's just the regular frustration of seeing your earnings go up real slow.

i remember when my first several days here,i do post a lot, about 5 to 10 a day,but just the first three days, then i realized i should repond to others' topics, actually my friends suggest me that, and now,i start a new discussion every four or five days, sometimes i found it hard to get a new topic, and i am afraid of a lot of things,is it worth discussing,is it posted before, will people be interested in it?and many factors make me hesitate in posting a new topic here.

I had my moments at the beginning too. But it was good that I realized later that I should respond to others more than expect others to post on mine. Posting to others' discussion is also a good way to make friends. And yeah, making a discussion is actually hard. You have to think of a good one lest you disappoint yourself when only few responded.

Myself I post a lot, don't make many discussions though and making friends not really, just accept them. For me it is just standard behavior as I am used to be quite an active forumer. On some forums in the past I had well over 20.000 posts in example when they were active. So my post count isn't a true surprise to me either here. I do my best to dig up discussions though by responding a lot to discussions with no responses, but so many new are coming every single minute and a lot of them are duplicates of what they posted themselves 10 minutes ago already as well. It's a shame there isn't a system like digg in place where upon making a new subject you would first be told it looks very familiar to a bunch of other ones and ask you if you're sure you wouldn't be able to do your say there.

That will be a very nifty program if implemented. You should go and suggest that. It happens to me sometimes too, when I made discussions which I thought was original but I later found out other people had already conceptualized after I put in my tag. I don't make fuss on my friends too. I always accept everyone who asks. Lately I have not been much of a discussion starter, prefering to just post on others.

like other mylotians who have been here for a while ,i am just enjoying my stay discussing and just letting the earnings be. i choose topics already unlike before, i answer almost all of them thrown in my email and now i get to keep or delete some listed friends depending on how they dealt with me.i am already contemplating on deleting some for some juvenile issues like not being maturely open to constructive comments and criticisms.well, we all have a choice with what to do with them.
