At what age do people become adults?

The law in our country turns children into adults at many different ages. At age 12 they need to pay adult fares on buses or aeroplanes or to enter theme parks. At age 16 they are allowed to get married although they are not even eligible to vote until aged 18! They can learn to drive a moped at 16 and car at 17. Is anything left until aged 21 nowadays? What are the laws in your country?

In Germany one is legally adult when one reaches the age of 18. Then one can go to elections or get married etc. It used to be twenty one years but the age has been lowered. Obviously young people are considered more mature today than in past years.

Yea, they can fight a war at 18 but can't legally drink until they are 21. Doesn't make much since does it? But I have known some men who were in their 40's are still weren't an adult. LOL

Well that is true enough. Do men ever really grow up?

Age of 12 you become an adult in everything the country can make money out of you. Can marry at the age of 18 and are considered an adolescent. At the age of 25 they truly consider you as an adult.
