Do you like to drive?

I never drove much until I moved to fla. I lived their for two years and got most my driving experience their. I moved back to WV and had my son and ever since I have been afraid to drive.
I loved to drive when i did. But now I even fear to get in cars while others are driving. I have to keep something to read to get my mind off of them driving. Why is this I wonder? Do you know anyone like this?
I even have dreams of driving again and I'm loving it. What is wrong with me?

I guess you could say that I am afraid to drive. I am 42 years old and I never even had a desire to drive. People are crazy drivers sometimes. I don't really like being a passenger either. Once when I was young I saw a really bad accident, so maybe that is why. Did you ever see a bad accident or maybe you were in one or lost someone close due to an accident. If you have, then maybe that made you afraid to drive now.

I have never learned how to drive, I have the opposite fear to you, I trust other people's driving but I would not trust me on the road. I was would be a time bomb waiting to go off. I would be so nervous.

you have to remove fear and face the task of driving with focus and determination in other to be perfect in driving.i can see that really developes fear when it come to learn how to drive.

Hi There!
Most of the time I enjoy driving. The only time I don't like to drive is if I'm overly tired because of having had a lot to do that day or having had to get up early that morning. But driving gives me time to think about a lot of things.
I don't there is anything wrong with you at all. Sometimes people just don't enjoy driving. Hopefully one day soon you will start to enjoy it again.:)

I dont drive a lot. Since my dad uses it i have less time to drive it

Anything having to do with driving I've had bad experiences with- been in many accidents and whatnot that I'm actually scared to drive, it doesn't help that I'm highly anxious and most of the people that try to help me with it actually don't help at all.

Yes man ofcourse. Everyone like to drive even they love to drive their own dream car and I to love drive and I do drive.

i hate driving but do not have a choice, I have to. I want to be stinking rich and get a personal driver.
Have you ever been in an accident? It is strange that only after you had your son that you started to fear driving. Maybe you should speak to a profesional if this becomes serious. Good luck.

I drive because I need, not because I enjoy doing it. But is not like I dislike doing it. Its just a mix o fillings. I only use the car when I need to work and not to visit places, so it difficult to me to like driving because I know that when a have to drive I have to drive to work.

I love to drive everyday,but then for personal reasons,not like going to work.Sometimes i don't feel comfortable when sitting next to someone who drives,but i'd rather do it myself because sometimes you see some mistakes while others are driving and that is what causes your fear.So there's nothing wrong with you.It just feels different when someone else is driving.

I love to drive.
The best part of getting somewhere is the drive to it
we always take back road, side roads
and we have found some of the best places to eat,shop and just look around...
...sometimes we run out of time before we even get to our destination and have to turn around and go back .

i love to drive and thats has been one of my hobbies,i have several cars and has been teaching some of my friends and family member to learn driving.it's a simple and easy task,all it need is focus and determination to achieve that.
