Our Love For Shoes, Bags And Clothes

Philippines

There are some of us who never feel contented with the number of shoes, bags and clothes that we have accumulated. This is the reason why I have to keep on hold my tendency to buy these items while, I still have some which are still in good shape and can still render me good service. There are times though when I feel so bad about not buying an item which has caught my fancy. Share me your shopping experience on this regard.

we have to have enough for all our needs. no one can stop us from doing what we want if we can afford it and has the capacity to make it. be happy bluewings, your thoughts herein are good for me to consider when i go out to shop. that is, not to be guilty nor to be feeling bad about something i miss out.

I love shopping, but mostly it's only window shopping.~~lol I mean, sometimes even if I have the money to buy the shoes, blouse or bag I like. When I have it into my hands. I have second thoughts. For example, like if I really need the item, where would I used it, how often. I'm more on the "if it's really necessare" kind of thinking. To the point that sometimes, I end up buying something else, like a book, or slippers for my daughter. But the good thing about it, my sister is fond of buying me things. Because she knows, if it will be just me, maybe I won't buy it.~~lol And I can still share shoes with her. Because we have the same size. And my shopping spree, sometimes, is because my sister is with me..~~lol (^^,)

I have this need to buy sneakers...the brighter the designs on them, or the more exclusive the color of the shoe itself is, I need it and don't stop until I've bought them..now, I look for bags to match the shoes..then I realize I need a belt too..then I realize I need another belt chain..so its an on-going cycle with me...I am up to about 120 pairs of sneakers and haven't even worn half of them yet...if ti keeps going this way, I might have to seek professional help..lol

yes, and you'd better start finding the best professional help around, hehehehehe. i can see that you are a very fashion concious one. you'd better remember, dearie, that you have only one body, so you can never wear them all altogether, all at once.

For some people it is an explosion from not having been able to buy what they want and when they want it. For me I have neer had that issue, I still have clothes that are over 7 years old but are still able to be worn so I wear them.

if the things we have are good enough to keep on using, use them. let them keep on serve their purpose for being. actually, i do enjoy wearing my old colthes, too.

I guess I am better now than before. I used to buy so many clothes and bags and I don't seem to remember what I bought exactly. I didn't wear most of my clothes and everytime I cleaned out my wardrobe, I was amazed how many things I got in there which were "untouched". But since last year, I start restraining myself from buying so many clothes. I try to wear some till they're worn out before buying new ones. Of course, the thinking doesn't quite work for me because I always think I have nothing to wear, but it's getting better at least before I won't spend so much money on something I don't even use. I guess I start to "think" before I spend now.

be happy, that is such a good improvement. now, keep on making that thinking thing do the thinking each time that you are out on a shopping spree. good luck. i know how it feels thinking there is nothing to wear while facing a wardrobe, filled with clothes hanging right in front of you.

erk..you make me feel so bad. i have tons of clothes and shoes and bags, yet i keep buying..i dont fancy bags that much, so i keep buying clothes and shoes. i'm a shoe freak! it's a bit 'depressing' when u go window shopping and see many things that you like but dont get to buy them. it's so hard to resist the temptation but i'm trying to control now..

no, i do not wish anyone to feel bad. my daughter is just like you. she is the reason why i brought this subject up. in fact, there are some items which she had insisted on buying and then, to my disappointment, i see some around which never get used. when i bring her attention to it, she will just give me a laugh and a smile. it is good that you are considering now to be more in control of the urges to keep on buying more and more.

it is true that those who have so much money will have no trouble at all with this. i know some who keep a warehouse to house all the the personal things they have once more new ones come in.
