ignore old parents

Why does children once they get married ignore the old mother and father, specially the sons. They are rich guys but does not ask the parents mum and dad, did you have food? Do you require anything. They are scared to wish the parents, thinking that they ask them something.

If it happen that a man act like this it's 100% sure that he don't have a great wife or something in the past have make him feel that way... I just think that it's a bad idea for a man to not have any attention for his parents...which image will he give his sons and daughter
