Who does the cooking, who does the dishes?

well i do try to clean up when my sweetie pie cooks, but i don't always remember. We both do lots of cooking and i don't mind cooking, I just wish the kids would start eating what we eat, because if we tailored our dining to their likes it'd be chicken nuggets all the time, so we make what we want for us. Our two year old is up for trying new stuff, the five year old is iffy and with the seven year old, forget it he seldom trys anything new.

My partner and I are supposed to take turns but in reality I do both the cooking and the cleaning up afterwards. Right now the kitchen is a wreck as I have been spending time on here instead of cleaning up :-)

since im a stay at home mom i do all the cooking and washing, i just let my husband help me when im really tired, but yeah we eat out a lot too,

We share the cooking in my house- Usually we cook together- Even my daughter loves to cook- She is 10. We had turkey BLT's last night- They were so yummy- It was still in the upper 80's at dinner time- She fried up the bacon and ripped the lettuce up- My sig. other does all the grilling and we grill alot! So we all share cooking. I do the dishes a couple times a week- My daughter does them for her chores twice a week and alot of time my sig. other will do them! When we all help out it gives us more time to go outside and enjoy the night!

Well in my house my mother and my sister cooks the food and they decide and wash the dishes too all me, my father and my brother had to do is to eat and enjoy.

My partner likes to cook, and he does most of the cooking. I also like to cook, but he's better at it than me :) He's a bit of a slob though. No matter who cooks, it seems I am stuck with the clean-up. When I do cook, I clean as I go. When he cooks he uses every pot, pan & serving utensil and leaves them where ever they fall.

At our house theres not really a set person to cook dinner and do dishes we all kind of just do it on and off. None of my family is home at the same time so we all cook ourselves most of the time. When everyone is done eating we clean the dishes ourselves. Well put them in the dishwasher at least lol. So its kind of "you made the mess you clean it" kind of deal.

I do both, my husband can't cook and I do the dishes while he cleans up after our toddler son. My son usually requires a bath after dinner lol, he always gets messy and I've got a bad back so it's easier for my hubby to clean him. We tend to use our dishwasher as an extra cabinet, most of the time we grab plates, etc out of there.
