My husband doesn't smoke, fortunately:) Smoking is really bad for the healthy, and it also has a bad effect on others. If my husband smoke, I would try to ask him to quit. It's not because I don't like the smell, but also it's good for him. I love my husband and I don't want any troubles will happen to him. Otherwise I will be the most upset person in the world.

My husband did smoke! I told myself, I would never date anyone that smokes. But 12 years later, I'm still with him. After our third child and the other two were getting older, We talked about how do we talk to the kids about not smoking when their father smokes. The kids would also tell him, Smoking Kills! He has not smoked in 6 months.:) I'm very happy about this. I do have to say, You can't make anyone quit smoking! They have to do it on their own. And when they are ready.

It's better for him to do it willingly. My dad smoked, too. But these few years he quit it successfully.

He wouldn't be your husband if he was a smoker then would he? Seriously, if you married a smoker then you have no right to & change him, he was a smoker beforehand & you cant marry him just to try & change him. If you didn't want a smoker for a hubby then you find someone who has all the qualities you want - in your case i guess you did.

In fact I really don't know whether I would marry him if he was a smoker. As I haven't had a love relationship with smokers. Maybe it's just a coincidence. I think even if I married to a smoker, for his healthy, I would still try to ask him to quit smoking, at least he had to smoke less.

yes this kind of the activies is so good not only for the you but for the other too.thinking is so nice and healthy...no question about it .there is lots of bad things which are defanetly be avoided at any cost.cigerretes is one of the harmful poision that are sticky to one and all..i.e if one can get in touch with these things it is very immpossible to get rid ..for this you have do lot and lot of activities only for to give up.that why if we are not indulgance at that time.then there is no matter about it regading to leave or to continue.beware of these kind of harm and harm things now and in the future too.now this is very good with you dear...thatyou not only think of youself but for the other too..this is the real craze to sustain the life or lives a wonderful life with only this kind of life style.this is not for the all..i mean to say that every person not like you and they never become yourself.i m too a smooker but this time i m totally changed in the manner that i have gave up it very earlier only because for the others to live in the pollution free envorionment.but this was not a easy task foe me to do so...a lots of extra efforts have to do that are hidden in the past. but today i m very happy and enjoy my life both by healthfully and mentally.if i m indulged in this then i were a most unlucky person... it is the wish of the GOD that why i m free from such a dangerous environment situation.in my opinion if u see the other people to use the ciggerretes in front of u the u also do their own job and make that to the reality of the life for those person who use the bad things for the life to live.make him aware of the terrible situation of the somkers and drinkers.and make work for that.thanks

I'm not married, but my Dad smoked, so all that second hand smoke makes me more susceptible to respiratory-based illnesses like bronchitis and whatnot, since I tend to wheeze heavily when I get sick and get dizzier faster, and I have these coughing fits where it feels like my diaphragm is trying to expel my entire esophagus through my mouth, and it's been weeks since I've been able to breathe through my nose. Also, I keep coughing up phlegm every morning with this latest cold I have, just like my Dad did when he would cough up huge bucketfulls of thick yellow phlegm. Still, if smoking helps him relieve tension, I guess it's none of my business to say anything.

I am sorry to hear that. My dad smoked in the past. However, a few years ago he successfully quit it by himself. He quit in several times in the past but failed. Maybe finally he realized that smoking was really bad for his health. So he made up his mind to quit it. It's not easy. When he felt like smoking, then he did housework. After a few days, he didn't want to smoke anymore.

My husband does not smoke, but my 1st daughter's dad did. He smelled horrible, and I remember being pregnant and the smell making me sick. Smoking is not only bad for the smoker, but second hand smoke is even worse for those around them! Even the smoke that remains in clothes can cause health problems for newborns and children.

I always wonder why people will like smoking. It doesn't taste good at all.

For your baby's sake, please try not to smoke at this moment. Being a mom isn't easy, I can understand. But please try, your baby will appreciate to you.
