Hi brand, I think the last book that made me get all emotional was "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee, Author Dee Brown" an opening true story that made a great impact on anyone who read it... Also Straight after that book I read another heart touching book, Called "La Prisonniere, Author Malika Oufkir" These 2 books are 2 of the most touching books I have ever read by far...

Dont feel embarassed.. that book gets me going too. It's one of my favorite children's stories. I bought each of my children a copy of it when they were born. Right now I'm rereading the Earth Children series by Jean Auel. I started off my day with a big cry because I got to the part in The Mammoth Hunters where Rydag passes.. that gets me every time I read the book. I tend to fall right into books when I read them.. especially books that I love. The characters in this series are so well written, you can't help but to see them as actual people and fall in love with them. When Ayla and the rest of Lion Camp are preparing Rydag for burial, I just started bawling.

The last book that really made me cry is probably 'The Kite Runner'. Although it is a novel, the storey seemed so real to me, that I really believed that all these horrible things had happened to the characters in the book. It was very emotional and the story really touched me and made me realize what sheltered life I lead.
