Not sure if I am in the right place but here goes...I want to chaneg the oil and filter myself on my 2000 Chevy Cavalier.(don't worry I have changed the oil on other cars but none of late). For some reason,I cannot find the oil filter on this car.I jacked it up and crawled under it but never saw it(unless it was so dirty it blended in) and I crawled inside on top of the engine, still could not see. I know it's there.LOL. I am going to get some car ramps to borrow and I am going to crawl back under there again. Does anyone have any insight as to where it is?LOL. I will be crawling under fronm the drivers side.I am thinking it is just so dirty I overlooked it. I don't normally do this anymore but I need it done and can't afford to take it in.

Either you are using a car which is far beyond our speculations and learnings or you are missing some basic spots never the less you can get the correct answer if you visit a mechanice , after all he is the doctor and your car the patient ..:)
