Ok am I the only one who is really upset by what is going on with Days of our lives? The Patchman came back to us in time for christmas and now he is in a mental ward for the crimanally insane and rejecting his family. Where did this story come from ? Is this what the fans want? I know I don't. Is this the new Era that H. S. the new head writer promised ? Am I alone out here? Talk to me

I am 28 years old, and have been watching this show since i was 2. I have to say that the past 2 months i have had a hard time making myself sit down and watch it. It is pretty sad when i am able to sit down and watch Passions with 100% attention and i can't watch Days for more than 20 minutes. I think this story line with Steve is ridiculous. The "real" Steve character was and is NOTHING like this one. This new Era needs to be re-thought in a bad way!

This new era is begining to sound a lot like the old one. I just hope they find the old super hero steve again really really soon . With passions on it's way out us soap er daytime drama fans need shows we can rally around. I just hope NBC gets the message before we all lose intrest

I am really just tolerating the storyline. But, I also have seen that alot of the Days veterans will be returning to their roles, and they all seem to surround the Steve is insane storyline. The rumours and spoilers I've seen are mentioning Tony and Stefano returning to deal with E.J. and the way he is mishandling things. From what I've gathered, one of the things that he will be chastised for is his mishandling the brainwashed (computer chip in the brain) Steve. It's also been used as the way to bring back Adrienne's character, and soon, Kimberly's character along with several others. Who all, it seems, are being set in place to help Steve and to combine forces of the veterans against the DiMera's. It is sad that sometimes we have to see storylines like these, and sit through them, waiting for the GOOD stuff to happen. But, usually, the pay-off is worth the wait and boredom we experience while waiting for the story's climax.

I hate it- I want Steve to get out and get on with his life- Sure it makes a story line- but I don't like it- I also don't like that Stephanie is a "bad" girl now- I liked the innocent one before she left- It's almost unbelieveable! I think Kayla and Steve deserve happiness for a while- But then again they had to show where Steve was all these years- I think he will overcome the Dimero's and end up hurting one of them & breaking free.

Yes, this story is crazy but it is getting interested. Look at the story now. Steve is being a father, husband and working under cover for the Dimera. So what else is going to happen. This story should get more interested and not be so bloat about things. Because I am along with you ebertmary. That it is not right what Patch and all of his girls are doing. But he is not remembering that he was even married to Kayla. Due to the Dimera family.
