selfish mom

Do you think it's fair for a mom to remind you that mother's day is coming around and she expects a gift from you even when you have your own child and a mortgage and not to mention the other bills too. My mother always thinks that she should get something for mother's day and if she doesn't she gets upset. i tell her that my child is my first and only priority, but she could care less. She expects a gift no matter what. I feel that it's wrong to expect something all the time when your situation might be finacially unable right now. what do think?

My mother is also selfish, but on another way.What about yours? Are you enough frank to tell it the truth? There is nothing worse then begged gift. It comes not from the heart, it`s only a material. Dare to tell her the true! Dont allow to be manipulated.
