At what age would you like to retire and what do you want to do?

my husband and i are on our early 30's. as much as possible, we are working to the fullest to be able to retire early. maybe when we are around our 50's we can already relax and enjoy the fruits of our hard work. by that time, we hope that our kids would have finished college and are starting their own careers. we would like to stay somewhere peaceful and quiet and where we could live each day simply. no problems to face, no worries to think about.

Can't say as I blame for thinking about retirement. You have the same dream as we do We love to travel. Have already been doing that We use our 5th wheel and travel all the time with it. We are snow birds and head to warmer climates in the winter I am already home full time at age of 53. Feels great and lovin every minute of it. Wishing you the best for your future Wendy

My husband and I are too in our 50's. I only work at home but I would love it if my husband could retire right now. I know this is not possible and know according to social security that by the time we reach retirement age it will be 70's! :-( Our plans would be to enjoy our grandchildren and kids and just enjoy working and being here on the farm. I love to travel but don't want to leave be away from my kids and grandkids very long.

I want to retire after 5 years. After that I would like to travel, relax, have lots of fun and do some social work.
