I need a webcam that operates by remote control, anyone here of these???

I need a camera that I can use on the internet and be able to adjust it from across the room. It has to have good quality and running it with remote is a must. I have seen these before but I dont know if they are webcams, presentation tools or what kind of cameras these are. I seen one in a chat room. The person was setting there and running it by remote. Can anyone help me with this???
