Is it GReg Oden or Kevin Durant?? who will be the top pick for this years NBA draft?? the battle of the big man..the two has been competing in college basketball. Kevin Durant win the match-up between the two (because their teeam advanced more than Oden's team.. now you choose who's the Best Big Man between the two.

Well, since the Portland TrailBlazers have the first pick, I think it would be Greg Oden who gets to go first. However, Blazers already have good inside presence, such as last year's pick LaMarcus Aldridge and Joel Przybilla (ok, fine, Przybilla is just 'inside presence'). Although it would be a great idea to put Aldridge and Oden together and form a formidable combo inside, I don't think it will work. What I think the Blazers should do is do the unthinkable: trade out of the first pick. Trade the first pick to the Seattle Sonics for the no.2 pick and the rights to acquire Kevin Durant and maybe some young studs they have for centers (Sonics have drafted a center last three years). Not only is Durant the better player, but by acquiring another center, TrailBlazers can get depth and somebody to play along Aldridge if they really want to. Let's remember: Durant has the higher PPG and RPG than Oden. Durant is clearly the better player.

hmmmm...yupo maybe Oden could go first and durant on second pick. if trailblazer will pick Oden as the number over all, its great for the dying basketball franchise, but do youi think three bug men can work on together?? ALDRIDGE, ZACH RANDOLPH and GREG ODEN? Aldridge is a proven player and randolph is phenomenal power forward. one way or another its not going to work on well, limited minutes for Oden or for Aldridge since they play on the same position. There could be to much defensive player on the team, Oden a known defensive monster and Pryzbilla a good defensive player. if trailblazer will pick on Durant, he can easily slide up into the starting line up, since durant is SF player there would be no problem at all. and if seatle, who will wait on the Blazers pick, if luck comes to their way and Oden will land in to their hands, its a great pick for them. Oden will automatically be the starting center. The last years pick, was an investment at the centers spot. also if durant will land on Sonics, it would be triple treath, adding another offensive player to the ALLEN-LEWIS tandem, it could be a scary team and exiting team to watch for the next season. but the problem here is that, Durant is SF so as LEWIS. Lewis is a free agent this summer so theres nothing to worry about it more. the problems is in blazers office. its either they trade randolph to another franchise or go on with the three big man fighting for the two spots.

I think it could go either way depending on what team gets the first pick. Some teams are looking solely for that pound it in the paint type center or power forward while other want a versatile big man who can do it all. Personally I would pick Durant because of his style of play and how well rounded he is. The man is nearly 7 foot and can shoot 3's, pass the ball, score on the low post, play defense. Hes a one man show like Kevin Garnett and is a one of a kind breed in todays game.

i think it will be kevin durant that will be the no.1 draft pick this year. kevin will be a good talent to any team, hes a big man but very athletic. he's much of a scorer than oden but oden strength is on defense. but if boston gets the 1st pick it will be better if they pick oden to give them defensive presence at the middle it will also be great if they acquire a player that can help pierce on scoring. if memphis gets the 1st pick kevin durant will be a great player for them, if the memphis will not trade pau gasol durant will be a great compliment and help for gasol and their wing players will have more space especially miller who loves to shoot because they have now two post threat.
