Maybe it is just me, but I have noticed a lot more non paying bidders lately. This past month I have sold, or thought I had, 3 items that went unpaid. Is this some new game that I am unaware of. What do you think.

I started selling in ebay recently. There is one ebay buyer who has only one positive rating (she is new too) bid on all my items (total: 3 item). After waiting for 8 anxious days, she finally send me a msg that she was sorry for the late response and she will not buy all 3 items due to an unexpected medical expenses. Well, surely i am disapointed, but who can i do. Ebay will just refund back final value fees, the listing fees is still covered by seller. It is really unlucky to meet non-paying bidder.

I have had people contact saying they were sorry but something came up and they can't pay. That is fine. Things happen. Its the ones that just ignore that make me mad.

Not sure but I keep getting a notice that i bid and won the bid on something that I havent paid for and I havent even used my e-bay account in over 3 years. So maybe someone is accessing unused accounts and trying to get pay-pal info or something. I keep telling them I'm not the person who bid but it isnt helping.

I hope that isn't what is happening. I would hate to be bothering someone who doesnt deserve it.

I haven't really noticed that much of an increase in non-paying bidders recently, although there is usually an increase around the school holiday times. Kids bidding on things because they are bored, they are not supposed to be able to but they do.

I haven't had too many problems with non paying bidders. I think maybe twice since I began two years ago, but none since then. I always check a buyer's feedback and rating and if it's too low I would decline the bid, but that hasn't happened yet. I also have reported non-paying bidders and Ebay is very good about following up with them.

I think something is fishy or people are not interested in your products and just made it their mind. Hope they pay you soon.
