The following are just some possible strategies Problem: Inattention Strategies: 1) seat student in a quiet area 2) seat student with good role model 3) Allow more time to complete assigned work. 4) Shorten assignments or work periods to include with span of attention. 5) Break long tasks into smaller aparts so student can see end to work. 6) Assist student to in setting realistic goals. Imupusions - ignore minor, inppropiate behavor Motor skills -Allow student to stand at times while working - Provide opportunitiesfor 'seat breaks' ie run errangs. - remind student to self-monitoring skills Academic skills Provide short tasks after revealing the caneet for atris program.
