Loads of Responses!!

Hey is there any secret to getting alot of responses to discussions you have created??? i mean i have started many discussions.. but the maximum number of responses i have got so far is 5.. is it that my discussions are crap and does not generate any interest.. or is there a trick to getting loads of responses??

I worked out that if you stagger your commenting on disucssions then they are more likely to be commented on. Instead of coming on and commenting to them all at the same time you should do one comment every 5 minutes then they will always be higher up the list in recent discussions.

i guess commenting is very important, thanks for the tip, i too have a habit of coming on and commenting together

The better the quality of your discussions will greatly improve the number of responses. Also many friends also helps as more people will see your discussions then. Respond to many other members discussions may also draw more members to your discussions. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I guess i should start building my friends list, and take time out to reply to there discussions as well.. but the problem is time.. hehe.. thanks for the valuable suggestion

yes friends do help.. but it sucks when you have people who are on your friends list and they never post on your discussions.. I have some like that.. Referrals help to.. even though all of mine are doing nothing.. Oh well its fun..

well, i would say make good friends and do justice to them, in the sense, that try to respond to their posts religiously and make personal rapport through PMs. all this has to be genuine. soon you will found, atleast your friends are responding. and secondly try to start catchy posts with punch liners. the topic is very important, frame it very interestingly. good luck!!
