Hello, nurhoney. I use both of them. There are a desktop on my desk at home. When I got home, I'll use it. When I'm out, laptop is my best choice because its convenience. What about you, nurhoney, desktop or laptop?

I have a desk top computer. I like it for several reasons. The first reason is that for the most part in my state a desktop is cheaper than a laptop. I do a lot of online points sites and think that desktop computers are more reliable. The desktop keyboard is easier for me to use. I like to be able to use a plain keyboard. My cousin has a laptop and the keyboard is very different than mine. I had a hard time using her system. I am not the type of person to try new technology so I will wait till the desktop is no more and then I may buy a laptop.

I've been using this laptop for a few months, and I definitely prefer it to my desktop, since I bring it everywhere. The only problem with some laptops is that room to improve it in terms of memory is limited, you can keep on updating your desktop while keepin its outer appearance intact. I'm not so conscious about having the top of the line computer, as long as the one I'm using isn't overly slow or is still sufficient to cover my needs- mainly internet surfing, word processing, listening to movies and watching dvds.

I prefer to use desktop. It is easier for me though with laptop you can get access to the internet anywhere be it in the comfort of your home, your office, or any hot spots. Mine is like 5 years old and it is still good and working properly. I seldom have problem with my desktop. Whatever it is, I feel more freedom using desktop though I can't bring my desktop everywhere I go.

My desktop is seven years old and I want to buy a desktop again. I have a nice workplace with lan and all and I want just to replace the computer and keep the rest like my tft. I have upgraded my computer twice and all this I could not do with a laptop. No, I do not want to sit on the sofa, watch tv and type into a laptop.

Using both at the same time, although the laptop is newest. They are just much more convenient I think because they give you the possibility to easily move them and take along to wherever you want. They're also getting more and more like real desktop systems when it comes to speed and liability.
