R & B - do they know how to "get it" better than anyone else in the world?

Okay, so this thought thread started while listening to "50 Candles" by Boyz II Men, but seriously, R&B guys get it, not these new guys, either, they are so outplayed, and it's not about the love, it's about getting a piece of a$$. I'm talking about the old-school lovers that can get you ready just by singing -Luther Vandross, who else do you guys like?
