My husband likes to call in to work every now and then and tell them he is working from home. It bothers me sometimes because M-F is MY time. I have a normal routine that I am used to and when he is home, he messes it up. Drives me up the wall. Anyone out there get this way too? Where you enjoy your spouse going to work because you can stay home and do what you want when you want and no interruptions? Or am I the only one that needs her space and likes her freedom during the week??? What are your thoughts?

Every person needs some ME TIME or they will eventually start to resent the other person. My husband and I make efforts to get at least a little time alone or doing something we enjoy without the other one. It makes for a better relationship and I always feel more relaxed after a little while to myself. Great topic !

Yes, I wish he gave me more space though. He seems to want to be with me all the time. He does have his days where he wants to be on the computer non stop and that is ok because it gives me a chance to do stuff on my own. He just seems to want to hang out at the times that I want to have it just "Me". Thanks for writing. + from me :)

My man is a neat freak so the opposite of yours. His navy days made him anal like that. Drives me up the wall. When he is gone, I get to make a mess and not feel bad. LOL Thanks for sharing

I love having my me time. I get frustrated whenever I can't have my time whenever anyone is home that shouldn't be. I mean, sometimes it's really understandable, but other times it's just really frustrating. I like my space, I like my time and I like being able to engage in what I want, when I want without having any issues.

I can totally agree on having ME time. I'm going nuts right now because my brother and his new wife are living with us. I can't seem to find a room in the place to escape too. I look forward to having my ME time back again!
