Right now I'm reading 'My Sister's Keeper' by Jodi Piccoult. It's a story about a couple who conceive a genetically engineered child to help find the cancer of an older child who would otherwise die. As the child grows older and is used to help keep her sister alive, she finally sues her parents to prevent them from using her body to save her dying sister. It's a great book and a real page turner.

Right now I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series books one through six. I want to be all set when the new book comes out and make sure I didn't miss anything important. After that who knows. I want to see about finding some more Dan Brown books and also books that the Dresden Files were based off of.

It's a great series. I've really enjoyed it so far. Can't wait till the last one comes out so we all know what happens.

I'm reading a couple of non-fiction titles by Car Jung and Stephen Hawking at the moment. It's required reading for a paranormal group that I recently joined, and for fun I have a couple on the go and they are "The Burning", by Bentley Little, and "Seven Deadly Wonders" by Steve Alten

I'm unusually focused at this point - I've been reading/devouring the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett. I've run out of ones I haven't read, so now I'm re-reading them - and I don't have any other books on the go! Which is odd, because I'm usually reading at least 3-5 at one time...but I'm absolutely hooked on these novels at the moment and I don't want to read anything that's not related to them. But, I only 9 more to go to complete my collection (at least until he writes a new one...).

I used to love Archeology when I was a child, I haven't thought about it in years. That would be a fascinating subject to read about again.

Archeoogy was a fav too.But the current procedure at some of our Eastern earthquake prone states are to prever civil engineers do their work and leave archeologists out of the picture.Does the book underline the engineering basis of Egyptian architecture or simply asks cliche questions like "how the pyramids could be built with the tech of that time"Surprise .. ALIENS" ?

That's a lot of books! I'm reading Perfect Dark: Second Front. It's based on a video game and reads more like an action movie than a novel, which I guess isn't a bad thing.
