My favorite memory was riding me and hubby's Fat Boy through the park during the month of February of 1999 and there was snow EVERYWHERE! We had our chaps on, but it was still very brisk, but absolutely lovely and peaceful, due to the fact, that it was off-season, and hardly any crowds whatsoever! A very tranquil and peaceful time. A time I will never forget. And Bridal falls, was stunning as the winter pack was just beginning to melt and it was just unbelievable to see during that time of year. If you have never been there, it is a MUST see for everyone, Park Rangers say that the most spectacular time to see the falls, is late April or early May. But if you go in the Summer time, be ready for lot's of traffic (although I do believe they have shuttles now, which we really recommend, to cut down on excessive emmissions, less traffic and offers a better view anyhow), and plenty of bear activity. If you decide to camp, be sure to check in at the Rangers station for Bear proof food containers to keep you AND your food safe from the hungry bears :) If you like to hike, this is an absolute paradise to see some incredible rock formations and they also offer lessons in rock climbing too, for the truly adventurous!! Oh, maybe one day. Another time that I'll never forget, is when I first visited the park in 1992, and I saw the most beautiful buck, just standing a few feet away along one of the trails I was hiking towards the falls. Can't beat the incredible wildlife!
