What is one thing you could do to save the planet?

IF there was one thing on earth that you could do to help save our faltering planet, what would it be? Personally, if I had the power, I would encourage everyone to stop littering and pick up after themselves. As I drove down a mountain road recently, I was amazed by the amount of trash and litter scattered along the highway. Such a disgrace, why are there so many out there that insist on polluting our country??? Not only is this a source of forest fires, but with the increase in litter, wildlife is affected, along with rivers and waterways. If more people thought, before they littered, about the consequences their negligent actions would incurr, I am sure more people would care. I was brought up in a time when people did seem to care, and I miss those commercials that were put out by the Native American Indians, especially that one with the Indian Chief standing by the river, watching all of the litter float downstream, as tears rolls down his face. We need more powerful messages like that one to spread the message, we need the younger generation of today to care about our planet! What could YOU do to help make a difference and help save our planet??
